American fireplace bread peel wrought iron c1790. This eighteenth century bread peel is American and made by a blacksmith. Notice the twisted hand cut design to the end. Very good original condition. The perfect addition to any early home.

Modern movement Copper Mobile Sculpture

Hand Made Modern Art Copper Mobile Sculpture. This hand made copper mobile measures approx. 71 inches wide by 50 inches and is approx. 40 inches high. This mobile came to us from a very important Connecticut estate. It is equal in quality to any of the important artists of the Modern Art movement and has the sophistication of a Calder but we can not find a signature. The individual pieces are each hand made and graduate in size. The mobile moves with the slightest breeze and hangs with absolute perfection. If and when we find out who made this sculpture the price could change dramatically. This moblie retains its original patina from hanging outside for several decades. I could be polished to a bright copper look but we find that many customers want the original look so we will leave that up to the purchaser.

Antique Heavy copper pot with handle c1800

Antique Heavy copper pot with handle c1800. This is a wonderful example of a heavy period American copper pot. The handle was made so that it is held with a strong brass bracket which does not allow it to fall on a table. It is held at 90 degrees. This copper pot measures 8 inches high and ten inches across. When the handle is extended it measures 15 inches high. The sides and bottom are all hand dovetailed. C1800 The perfect addition to any country kitchen.

Art Nouveau brass desk letter holder. This heavy quality solid brass letter and file holder would look great on any desk. The perfect organizer. This brass letter holder dates from 1890 to 1920 is in superb original condition and a very hard to find large size. It measures 21 and one quarter inches long by 5 inches deep and 3 inches to the top of each handle. Because of the design and the high quality we thought we would find a Tiffany mark on it but it is not signed.
